Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesThird year resident. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It’s located in a great spot where there is a nice variety of stores, a nice trail, the highway. You are close enough to Tampa and St Pete but not directly in the city.
|Recommended: YesLiving at Nexus Apartments has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had with a rental property. From the start, the leasing process was unprofessional. The leasing agent was rude and dismissive, and instead of honoring the apartment we originally selected, they switched us to a different unit without our consent — one that we strongly suspect was chosen because they could charge more for it.
The problems didn’t stop there. The building is extremely noisy — constant traffic from the street and loud neighbors makes it nearly impossible to relax or sleep. On top of that, the unit had ongoing pest issues, including cockroaches and ants, which were never properly addressed despite multiple complaints.
Overall, the combination of poor management, lack of respect for tenants, excessive noise, and unsanitary conditions makes this a place I cannot recommend to anyone. There are far better-managed communities that respect their residents, honor agreements.

|Recommended: NoDO NOT MOVE HERE — I’ve been living here just over a year, since then i’ve multiple issues with maintenance ac was broken for 2 weeks last year plus a leak in the master bathroom that is causing mold . PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE, i have had my vehicle towed here even though i am a resident, plus the tow company they contract with is a scam they wanted 275 to release a car that was held overnight. Complex constantly smells like weed, elevators and security doors broken on a weekly basis. The worst part about it is the management staff treats tenants like inmates rather than residents with the constant changing of policies. Only good thing is the location is near the mall, THATS IT For the same price you could live in an actual luxury apartment and not this dump.

Although this is a decent place to live and I cannot complain about office staff or maintenance the simple fact that they show no loyalty towards tenants that have showed loyalty to them. My fiance has lived on this property for 5 years and it s time to renew and instead of leaving the rent as it is since they raisrd it every single year since he s been here they still want to keep raising it and for what raising There s been nothing else done to this apartment it is the same as it was when he got except for the fact that he actually paid to get the very nice ceiling fans installed and even paid for the fans. When I asked were there any specials if we wanted to move into a bigger apartment and just stay with the company I was told no but yet if I walked in off the street there would be Make that make sense.

There is a great sense of community.

Every neighbor we have meet has been super friendly and nice. In looking for apartments we struggled to find a place that checked all our boxes and then we found Nexus and it checked all the boxes and more.
